Team Lead 2 - Indirect Job Description: The Team Lead 2 is responsible for ensuring employees in their area follow all safety procedures and work in a manner that meets the objectives for quality, delivery and cost. Duties and Responsibilities: - Demonstrate problem solving skills in all areas of responsibility - Ensure all employees are adhering to standard work and any applicable engineering standards related to workstation, machine or department - Train team members as needed in all areas of responsibility - Ensure paperwork is being maintained and accurate (reject log, quality log, scrap tickets and stock tickets) - Consistently ensure all team members are using PPE and that all safety procedures/guides are strictly followed (ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves, shoes) - Provide PPE to team members as needed - Position team members at start of shift to maintain adequate hourly/daily output to standard work and line balance - Verify correct OMS are in place for current production and prior to changeovers - Work with engineering to make appropriate changes to OMS as required - Identify and resolve conflict with team – be a team player and ensure team is playing together - Work clos...
