They will evaluate the condition of the vehicle and will work to ensure that the vehicle is in peak condition for county use. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs engine, exhaust electrical, brake, and transmission repairs on assigned vehicles. Conducts scheduled preventive maintenance functions, including checking the condition and operation of batteries, tires, lights, transmissions, exhaust systems, and brakes. Repairs lighting systems on vehicles. Inspects and repairs fuel systems on vehicles, including repairing carburetors and fuel injectors. Inspects and repairs air-conditioning systems, including repairing Freon leaks, compressor lines, wires, evaporator cores, and compressor components.
