Job Description Summary The Lead Manufacturing Engineer - 4th shift will be working Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will work in a production shop environment and serve as product/process engineer. The role will have hardware and process ownership and responsible for planning/execution. The role will impact departmental operations while providing exposure to lean principles and techniques. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: - Define and control production processes including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment. - Developing in-depth knowledge of a manufacturing engineering discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy. - In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
