ABOUT THE ROLE: Qube is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to provide mechanical maintenance across site plants, mobile machinery, and vessel‑related equipment. This hands‑on role offers variety and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement within QUBE Ports. The role is primarily Monday–Friday, however availability outside core hours for vessel operations and urgent breakdown response is highly desirable. Specific Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with QUBE Ports Health, Safety & Environment policies and all relevant legislation. - Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments/JSAs, and promptly report hazards, incidents, and near misses. Prioritise and perform repairs, servicing, and complex mechanical work to QUBE standards. - Conduct planned maintenance on forklifts, end‑loaders, bobcats, excavators, and other machinery. - Maintain the fertilizer conveyor system, bulka bagging system, bulk grabs, and hoppers. - Diagnose faults, perform fabrication and welding repairs as required. - Complete Mainpac work orders accurately and on time. - Operate the safety Tag Out system. - Liaise with contractors and specialist mechanical service providers. - Support c...
