Responsibilities Peraton seeks a Cloud / Platform Architect to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support. Location: Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will design and oversee cloud and big data platform infrastructure supporting Caspian and JCRS-D environments. Primary Responsibilities: - Design cloud and platform architectures - Oversee Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink deployments - Define infrastructure standards and patterns - Ensure platform scalability and reliability - Guide platform technology decisions - Support multi-classification environments Qualifications: Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. - Must have current AWS/Azure Solutions Architect certification - Must have Hadoop certification - Expert knowledge of big data platforms - Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) - Understanding of distributed systems - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration - Experience with DoD cloud environments - U.S Citizenship required - DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance Preferred Qualifications: - 12 years of relevant experi...
