Job description

QUALIFICATIONS: - Successful completion of a recognized program in Law and Security, Police Foundations or equivalent - Current and valid Ministry Security Guard License issued by the Private Security and Investigative Services Branch - Verifiable security, healthcare security or police experience is preferred - Certificate in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Use of Force and tactical handcuffing is preferred - Competent in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email - Thorough knowledge of investigative techniques, mediation skills and alternate dispute resolution methods - Excellent customer service skills required - Willing to take the initiative in emergency/crisis situations and accept responsibility - Applicants must possess good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to follow oral and written instructions - Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to work with minimum supervision - Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently RESPONSIBILITIES: St. Joe’s fosters an environment where we celebrate diversity, where teams reflect the diversity of the community in which we serve, enhancing the connection to patients, clients, community, and each...
