Work where you matter. A Brief Overview: The dietitian is responsible for the nutritional care of the patient within an assigned area of practice. What you will do: - Performs an accurate assessment within a timely manner of the patient’s nutritional status including, but not limited to: obtaining and interpreting information in terms of the patient’s nutritional needs, patient/family level of knowledge, ability and readiness to learn about nutrition requirements, cultural/religious needs, and physical/mental limitations. - Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific factors and performs satisfactorily related to patient’s age, infant through geriatrics, as noted on unit specific guidelines and competencies. - Plans the delivery of medical...
