Cost Planning Analyst

Location: Vonore, TN This is a hybrid role, minimum of three days in the office. Will be level 4 or 5 depending on experience. Summary/Purpose: Position is responsible for tracking, reporting, coordinating development of strategy to ensure that products launch at target profit level and current business portfolio achieves/maintains acceptable financial performance. Essential Duties and Accountabilities: - Coordinate cross functional team efforts to ultimately develop quotes for new business inquiries from customers - Cost planning tracking for new programs, monitoring profitability, setting cost targets - Lead activity and reporting on open issues, follow-up activities and countermeasure tracking for cost plans (support QG milestone meetings as well as JNA Management meetings) - Support cost reduction activities on current production programs in effort to maximize margin - Support make vs. buy analysis as required for outsourcing vs. in-house production - Ability to handle stressful situations and confidence to lead teams in efficiently executing corporate strategy - Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects and activities - Work daily overtime and Saturdays and/or Sund...
