Scheduled Hours 37.5 Position Summary: Research Technician to work on the production and analysis of antibiotic-like compounds produced by non-pathogenic soil bacteria. Job Description: Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Conducts, evaluates, and maintains experiments; collects data and performs analysis. Data management . ​Maintains safe and clean lab space . Trains and manages undergraduates in conduct of research. Restocks chemical and consumable inventories. Performs other duties as assigned. Working Conditions: Works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. Must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
