Title: Scaler/Transporter - 2nd Shift, 2nd Shift Req ID: 9362 City, State: Wells, MN, Minnesota (US-MN) Reports to: Production Manager: Department: Wells - 2nd Shift Line 11 Production Classification: Nonexempt: Physical Classification: 1-7 (see Back & Task Chart) Hours: 2:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m. (Hours May Vary) Wage: $22.31/hour: JOB SUMMARY: This is a position combining roles of both the transporter and scaler, to help where most needed. Transporter Duties to include: supply materials to the Packing Room, lift and stack pallets of boxes, and transport finished product to the freezer. Scaler Duties to include: Weigh boxes of product to designated specifications, complete necessary paperwork or computer entry and perform temperature and metal detector checks. TRANSPORTER JOB DUTIES: Supply necessary materials, such as boxes, labels, bags, etc. to the Packing Room, to support daily production operations. Complete daily equipment checklist prior to operating pallet jack. Handle part boxes of product to ensure they are put in proper location in freezer.
