Department: 38826 Navicent Health Medical Center - Clinic: Family Medicine Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: day shift...730-6, Monday through Friday. Pay Range: $19.80 - $29.70 Major Responsibilities: - Operates laboratory and hospital information system for entry and retrieval of patient demographic data and order entry. Works in partnership with Patient Registration department to ensure data is obtained and entered into system. - Processes outpatient lab specimens, accurately orders tests and labels specimens for testing in the clinical lab. - Retrieves patient data and results for clients and physicians. Operates remote printers and fax to deliver information as requested. Retrieves archived patient data from optical disk. Adheres to HIPAA standards at all times to ensure patient confidentiality. - Provides client service with customer oriented focus for clients and physicians concerning clinical data. Calls stat results to clients and physicians. Documents client calls and callbacks in computer. - Answers and transfers calls for Clinical Laboratory and Reference Laboratory.
