Department Profile The Mergers & Acquisitions team (M&A) is responsible for structuring and executing a wide range of complex transactions, working in close partnership with the industry coverage groups, including (but not limited to) Healthcare, Consumer & Retail and Industrials. We are seeking expressions of interest for a potential upcoming Associate level role to join our M&A team based in Sydney. You will be a key member of the team, executing a diverse range of M&A transactions and supporting business development across both private and public markets. This role will involve working closely with internal and external stakeholders, senior bankers and clients, and overseeing analysts. Primary responsibilities: Daily responsibilities include managing day-to-day execution for M&A transactions Provide guidance to analysts on financial modelling, financial and industry analysis Preparation of external marketing materials and internal reporting documents Quality check and taking ownership of work done by analysts Participating in day-to-day project management together with clients and other working parties, including lawyers and accountants Preparing and delivering client presentati...
