GIS Analyst

Job description

STV is seeking a GIS Analyst to join our Digital Advisory department in one of our major Texas office locations. Key Responsibilities: Assist with GIS and data analysis, prepare and execute queries, and produce maps, spreadsheets, graphs, and other analytical products. Develop and manage interactive web maps, dashboards, and data-driven applications using ArcGIS Online and related tools. Perform advanced spatial analysis and support data analytics workflows to inform infrastructure planning and decision-making. Prepare, collect, organize, and input data to maintain and enhance the company's GIS. Assist with interpreting as-built drawings, construction plans, engineering plans, recorded maps, deeds, legal descriptions, imagery, and other source documents, incorporating them into GIS using various methods, including coordinate geometry (COGO), digitizing, and GPS. Create and maintain multiple GIS layers, including parcels, streets, right-of-way, floodplain, other development layers, and water and sewer system layers.
