Summary: MediaNews Group is looking for a detail-oriented Lockbox Processor to join our team. The Lockbox Processor ensures the accurate and timely handling of customer payments by preparing and processing transactions according to strict account specifications and security standards. This is a vital role for someone who takes pride in high-precision work and thrives in an environment where every detail counts. What you will do: Receive, sort, and scan/process all classes of United States Postal Service (USPS) mail Capture, check, and document images utilizing high-speed imaging equipment Prepare documents for efficient processing, ensuring that all necessary materials and capacity are available to complete each transaction Verify that all equipment is fully operational Maintain consistent productivity and quality levels to meet department goals Clean and maintain office equipment and scanner Lift heavy boxes, files, or paper as needed Test imaging software and system updates as needed Provides exceptional customer care with a friendly, professional, and cooperative attitude Adheres strictly to all safety procedures and business guidelines What you will bring: Ability to read and u...
