POSITION TITLE: Childcare Attendant DIVISION: Recreation & Facilities REPORTS TO: Recreation Services Assistant Manager FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt; Part-Time PAY RANGE: Starting at $13.00 per hour Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for maintaining and creating a safe, enjoyable experience for children ages two years to twelve years old while parents/guardians utilize the Monon Community Center. A successful candidate for this position should possess a friendly demeanor, ability to relate to children and parents, work as a team player, be safety conscious, and deliver exemplary customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. - Supervises and engages with children ages 2 to 12 years old. - Consistently model and guide children in character development through actions, activities, and dialogue. - Assist in implementing various activities throughout the year in order to provide continued structure to the Monon Station. - Monitors the general maintenance and safety of the Monon Station; and either reports concerns...
