Job Description Overview: AtkinsRéalis’ Engineering Design business provides multidisciplinary engineering services and integrated solutions across a wide range of projects and markets. An opportunity is now available for a Principal Engineer, with expertise in Transmission Lines Design (up to 500kV). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various aspects of overhead transmission line design including preliminary route alignment, PLS CADD modelling, tower micro spotting, stringing chart preparation and generation of bill of materials. Familiarity with Australian utility standards and experience on related projects will be well regarded. Your role: Taking ownership of preparing and delivering a full scope of work for transmission and distribution overhead lines, new build, TNSP Panel works, in accordance with Australian Design Standard Identify line corridors, easements and preliminary route alignmen Develop PLS CADD models for transmission lines Analysis of PLS TOWER models.
