Position Summary: Adams State University has an opening for a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer. Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering athletic training services to the student-athletes of Adams State University. Duties are as follows: collaboration with Athletic Training staff, coaches, and team physicians; assist with injury evaluations, athletic training and rehabilitation services and operations; and other tasks as assigned for student-athletes, practices, and game coverage. Requires travel and work over holidays and weekends. Specific Responsibilities Comprehensive Healthcare: Provide injury evaluation, prevention strategies, emergency care, and personalized rehabilitation programs for intercollegiate student-athletes. Prophylactic Care: Apply protective equipment, taping, and bracing to support injured athletes and prevent further injury. Clinical Environment: Maintain a high-standard collegiate clinical setting conducive to the successful healthcare management of a diverse athletic population.
