Carrier Compliance Manager

Job description

Essential Job Functions: - Manage Carrier onboarding process per company policy, regulatory requirements, FMCSA standards - Verifies Carrier compliance with all applicable federal, state and local legislation and codes governing DOT/FMCSA compliance. - Verifies and audits Carrier compliance to Crane’s security requirements, particularly those contracted to carry high value/theft attractive cargo. - Ensures all security incidents/breaches are logged in the QHSE Management system. - Partners with Corporate Security to drive investigations with Carriers in the event of incident/breach. - Conducts and coordinates audits of Carrier safety programs and regularly reviews Carriers CSA scores for compliance to their contractual obligations to Crane Solutions. - Ensures all incidents/accidents involving Crane Solutions contracted carriers are reported in Crane’s QHSE Management System - Responsible for collecting all supporting documentation from Carriers for incident/accident reporting, tracking and investigation. - Coordinates with Corporate HSE and Corporate Risk on accident investigations and subrogation recoveries from Carriers. - Coordinates with Corporate HSE and Fleet Safety to ensur...
