Salary The salary range for this position is CAD $40.83/Hr. - CAD $50.94/Hr. Summary: We’re looking for Casual Medical Sonographers to join our team and help deliver exceptional, patient-focused ultrasound care! Reporting to the Supervisor, the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer contributes to exceptional diagnostic imaging services through safe, patient-focused ultrasound practice, including: - Abdominal, obstetrical, pelvic, peripheral vascular and small parts ultrasound examinations, observing patient safety practices. - Receiving and completing requisitions, entering relevant data into the diagnostic imaging information system, preparing patients for specific procedures, and conducting examinations utilizing ultrasound and Doppler techniques. - Participates on committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned. Education: - Must be a graduate of a recognized training program in Medical Diagnostic Sonography - Certified with Sonography Canada or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or be certified with Sonography Canada and have passed the Sonography Canada Skills Assessment (CCSA).
