Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM Infrastructure have an opportunity for a Principal Contractor Site Manager (PCSM) to join our team on the Eastern Green Link 2 project (EGL2) at Wren Hall, Drax, near Selby in North Yorkshire. The ‘Eastern Green Link 2’ (EGL2) project will see the creation of a 525kV, 2GW high voltage direct current (HVDC) subsea transmission cable from Peterhead in Scotland to Drax in England. BAM Infrastructure will provide the engineering works for the 2 converter stations. Site Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of a National Grid 400kV substation extension on behalf of BAM for National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET). The role involves managing all on-site activities in a live, high‑voltage environment, ensuring works are delivered to programme, specification, and National Grid standards, while maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
