SUMMARY: The Safety Specialist I provides leadership and operational support for health and safety processes within assigned areas of the facility. As part of a collaborative team of safety professionals, this role partners with departments across the plant to support the organization’s journey toward zero injuries. The position assists with the development, implementation, and administration of safety programs, policies, and initiatives that ensure compliance and promote a strong safety culture Key Responsibility: Lead and support site ‑ level health and safety initiatives within assigned areas while actively partnering with plant departments and divisions to drive a zero ‑ injury culture. Contribute to the development, execution, and measurement of safety programs, objectives, and annual goals as part of a collaborative Safety and Health team.
