Job description

The Quality Engineer Intern will be located in our Plant 5, Ti-Cast operation in Whitehall, MI. We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our team. This position will assist engineering with manufacturing issues relative to customer specifications. Root cause analysis & corrective/preventative action determined as appropriate. The 2026 Summer Internship Program consists of 10-14 weeks of structured hands-on training involving plant tours, lunch & learn seminars, fun networking events to connect with fellow interns, and projects selected to add direct value to the business. At the conclusion of the program, each intern will present their projects to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors. An internship at Howmet Aerospace will provide an invaluable experience that you can utilize in any role, and it’s Howmet's goal to evaluate our interns for potential entry-level openings.
