JOB SUMMARY: Maintains, and repairs the racetrack surfaces and physical structures. DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: None: QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Ensure all equipment to be used during the assigned shift is ready for use - Operate water truck, tractors, backhoe, spreader truck. - Wash equipment. - Repair pylons and fence as needed - Assist with equipment repair and maintenance. - Do preventive maintenance on equipment such as changing oil, replenishing fluids, etc. - Refuel vehicles - Remove and replace rail as required. - Minor carpentry work. - Minor welding repairs. - Snow removal for all areas of Hoosier Park. - Assist Landscaping staff when required. - Will abide by all safety requirements as outlined in the Safety Manual or as required by individual departments and/or job functions. - Other duties as assigned.
