Granger Medical Clinic has an opening for a full-time Medical Assistant at our Wasatch Internal Medicine Practice location. Location: 1160 East 3900 South Ste. 1000, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84124 Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm Overview: - This position supports a senior Internal Medicine physician with a large, established patient panel and requires the ability to manage a high patient volume efficiently while maintaining accuracy and patient satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Room patients and obtain/document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints - Perform medication reconciliation and update patient records in the EHR - Prepare patients for examinations and assist with in-office procedures - Administer injections, vaccines, and medications as directed - Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing - Process lab and diagnostic orders; coordinate referrals as needed - Manage patient communications, including phone messages and portal messages - Ensure exam rooms are stocked, prepared, and compliant with infection control standards - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record Qualifications: - Efficiently room patients while maint...
