YOUR IMPACT: We are seeking a sophisticated and collaborative Charitable Officer to join our Goldman Sachs Trust Company Charitable Services team. This role is designed for a professional with a deep background in the charitable services, including extensive knowledge of tax-exempt structures as well as the IRS rules and regulations that govern charitable vehicles. This role will sit at the intersection of wealth management and social impact, helping ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families navigate the complexities of private foundations, charitable trusts and donor-advised funds. The ideal candidate is a client-facing expert, comfortable with sales, who can help facilitate complex philanthropic goals and has experience with the administration of private foundations and donor advised funds. You will work closely with internal trust officers, portfolio managers, and external legal counsel to ensure our clients’ legacies are preserved and their charitable intent is realized.
