Job description
As a community director, you will engage with students as an educator, resource, and adviser on academic and personal growth concerns. You will foster students' academic success and personal growth, implement mission-and value-based community programs and events, and maintain an active, available presence within an assigned residential community. You will also serve in the on-call rotation to address and document student behavior. As needed, you will serve as a Code of Student Conduct hearing officer. Responsibilities include the supervision and evaluation of paraprofessional staff members and the coordination of an assigned area's programming model, including training and assessing department values, target areas, and learning outcomes. In this role, you will support recruitment, selection, and continual training for all residence directors and paraprofessional staff. You will also coordinate hall openings and closings, health and safety inspections, damage billing, and room consolidations.
