The Job Details: Guard/Welcome Agent is responsible for providing assistance to the Shipping/Receiving Clerks. Accurately reporting on trailers at the site and assisting carriers on getting on and off the site. Must exhibit attention to detail and ensure complete and accurate work. Possess a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. - Check in and out all professional drivers - Directs visitors and professional drivers to various parts of grounds or buildings - Professionally and courteously communicate with drivers and team members. - Ensure all paperwork is accurate and completed in full. - Place driver’s license information and or seal numbers in the system - Report the condition of the trailers at the time of arrival and departure. - Accurately report the temperature of all trailers. - Verify seal numbers on trailers entering and leaving facility. -...
