Summary: As a member of the Martin's Family, the Safety Intern works with safety team members to assist in day-to-day activities of the department to ensure a safety, healthy, and incident-free work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned - Assists in the investigation of incidents, prepares material, gathers evidence to determine the root cause - Compiles incident reports and trends the information gathered from them to determine areas of improvement - Prepares and arrange safety exhibits and material for display and promotional work - Assists in the facilitation of the employee safety committee - Compiles information gathered from the organization’s beh...
