FTE: 0.01, Shift: Variable, Schedule: 12-HR Shifts Position Summary: The RN Clinical Expeditor assigns bed placement for patients requiring admission to acute care and critical care units to all Multi Care Health System IBUs. The RN Clinical Expeditor performs chart reviews, clarifies bed criteria and works in collaboration with Physicians and Specialists from Emergency Departments, direct admits, inter-facility, and inter-unit transfers for consultation and/or acceptance. The Clinical Expeditor collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and other facilities to define, reduce and eliminate barriers within the system which may impede patient flow.
