This role is a remote position for candidates based in the DMV area. Key Role: - Implements and maintains operation and physical design of diverse databases. - Conducts performance tuning of indexes, optimization of storage functionality (i.e. compression techniques or cloud offerings), and databases in general. - Reviews database design and integration of systems, provides backup recovery, clones, and makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements. - Maintains security and integrity controls. - Formulates and implements policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization. - Building code and implementing database changes based on user request, - Providing Semi DBA support for th...
