Union Position: No Department Details: This position will allow specialization in the microbiology department including processing, interpretation, bacteriology, mycology, MALDI identifications, molecular and susceptibility testing. The position includes working every third weekend in microbiology 0700-1530. Summary: Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing. Follows standard operating procedures and ensures laboratory safety, quality and regulatory requirements are met. Job Description: Collect laboratory specimens, as needed. Process lab specimens and perform clinical laboratory testing, including manual and automated methods, in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures.
