Starting Wage: $16.00/hr. Job Summary: Assists with all areas of the CTGR Youth Education department including; full day K-5 and/or 6-12 programming. Essential Functions: - Assists with onsite and field trip supervision. - Assists in keeping classroom facilities clean. - Replenishes materials and supplies for classroom activities. - Assists staff in preparing snacks. - Assists in craft and culture classes. - Assists in summer academic preparatory activities and science camps. - Assists other programs within the Education Department . - Performs a variety of other duties as assigned by supervisor. Education, Experience, and Licenses: - Preference in hiring will be given to Grand Ronde Tribal Youth in their junior or senior year of High School, who are considering post-secondary education in the academic fields of math, science, or technology. - Requires a cumulative grade point average of 2.0. A 2.5 grade point average is preferred. - Must maintain a valid Oregon driver’s license or obtain one upon hire, qualify for the Tribe’s vehicle insurance, and provide proof of personal vehicle insurance.
