Department Overview The Assistant Director, Oncology Data Management & Accreditations, reports to the Director of Clinical Business Development & Planning. This position provides strategic and operational leadership for the OHSU Knight Cancer Registry, operations, and oncology accreditation programs across the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute and its partner sites. Function/Duties of Position: This role is accountable for ensuring Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Knight Cancer Institute and contracted facilities (Adventist Health Portland, Bay Area Hospital, and Columbia Memorial Hospital, Adventist Columbia Gorge, and Hillsboro Medical Center) maintain oncology accreditations. Primary Oversight includes, but is not limited to, the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACoS/CoC); ensures that OHSU maintains accreditation by the American College of Surgeons National Accreditation for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) and identifies and advances new accreditation opportunities aligned with organizational strategy and business need.
