Job Description Position Title: Weld & Automation Specialist Department: Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance & Metallurgy Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Summary: The Weld & Automation Specialist is responsible for supporting automated welding systems, robotic equipment, and associated automation within the manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, programming, and improving robotic welding cells to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production. The position works cross-functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Production to support equipment uptime, continuous improvement initiatives, and process optimization. This role also supports new equipment launches, robotic program updates, and weld process improvements to maintain product quality and production performance.
