Job Advert MRI Assistant Practitioner Pinehill Hospital, Hitchin: 37.5 Hours We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced MRI Assistant Practitioner to join the team at Pinehill Hospital, working under the guidance of a qualified Radiographer. The successful candidate will participate in the MRI rota undertaking work within the department when required, including weekend work. Duties will include: To perform basic MRI examinations: Assist radiographers by preparing rooms, equipment and patients prior to imaging examinations where necessary To carry out all diagnostic procedures to the highest possible standard in line with departmental protocols and procedures To report equipment faults to the supervising radiographer and take appropriate action Understand and observe the principles of MRI safety and participate in the associated QA programmes Undertake daily and monthly checks of the equipment and record thi...
