Job Description Summary The Metallurgical Laboratory Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day operations of the metallurgical and materials testing laboratory to ensure compliance with GE Aerospace quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory/industry specifications. This role oversees laboratory personnel, ensures accuracy and integrity of all metallurgical evaluations, and supports production, Quality, Engineering, and Turbine Airfoils Value stream teams with a timely and reliable technical data. This role is in Beaver Creek Ohio, just outside Dayton. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead and manage metallurgical lab technicians, providing guidance, workload management, training and performance feedback - Plan and prioritize laboratory testing, including microstructure evaluations, SEM analysis, failure analysis reports, and other material characterization evaluation from Quality/Engineering/Casting Technology teams - Ensure compliance with GE Aerospace specification requirements and procedures, industry standards (e.g. AS9100/ISO, AS13100, NADCAP) - Review and approve laboratory reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, analysis and traceability of...
