Please note that this position is open to students who are currently enrolled in a full ‑ time post ‑ secondary program. Some of what you will do: As a Co-op at Staples, you will be a fully integrated member of the team. This will allow you to participate in department and company events/meetings, get the opportunity to experience Staples as a full-time associate, and make an impact with the company through independent projects. For this co-op, you will Support the day-to-day inventory management for a specific product category, focusing on the ‘four P’s’ of Merchandising: Product Assortment Product Pricing: Product Placement: Product Promotion: Specifically, you will: · Review and proof marketing materials for accuracy · Participate in monthly Merchandise Department meetings · Interaction with vendors, community and store associates across Canada. · Assist with any special projects, supporting B2B or B2C business units. · Identify opportunities to improve the merchandising experience leveraging all available insights. · Leverage various analytics tools and provide insightful recommendations / process improvements, supporting our customer needs and business objectives. · Receive co...
