Pharmasave #451 Gimli is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Gimli, Manitoba. Qualifications: Schedule: - Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care - Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner - Assist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician - Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols - Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits - Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations - Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers - Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned - Previous Pharmacy Assistant experience in a retail pharmacy with a preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business is preferred. - Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is an asset. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software, Kro...
