Job Title Warehouse Associate/Lift Truck Operator - 2nd/3rd shift Position Overview: Shaw Industries is looking for Forklift/ Reach Truck Operators & Warehouse Associates for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities in the Port Wentworth and Rincon area. Starting pay is $19.16 -21.64/hr. LTO II associates have the opportunity to progress at 6 months to $22.53/hr and 1 year to $24.07/hr. Hours available for this position are: - 2nd shift hours are Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm - 3rd shift hours are Monday - Friday 11pm - 7am. Responsibilities: - Receiving a pull task with information on the flooring material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck. - Transporting a pallet by fork lift to and from location. - Transport flooring material from trailers to storage location, and from storage location to the customer or Shaw trucks for shipping. - Maintain a safe work environment - Responsible for reporting unsafe storage areas (leaning pallets, damaged walls, etc.) and unsafe working conditions to Supervisors. - Read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders. - Tape and repair any damaged packaging.
