Quality Control Engineer

Job description

Overview of the Position: The Quality Department and its personnel are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of rules, policies and regulations within the organization in order to work in accordance with manufacturer and customer requirements. This position will interface with engineers, technicians, inspectors and other technical personnel to verify procedures and create/enhance the process of disassembly, cleaning, building and testing components. Incumbent will manage technical data as well as assist in various tasks within the Quality department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Assists in the management of the Quality Management System to assure each department has documented there procedures and the procedures are implemented and effective. Utilize and implement standard work in each department. - Conduct internal audits for company quality requirements. - Support in handling of all associated quality procedures and work instructions, as well as control of nonconforming product, product disposition. - Attends meetings to determine internal status and assists in directing priorities and suggests solutions to problems.
