Job description

Overview Location: Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA Pay: $250/hr: Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099): Duty Hours: The Radiology Department is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. As such, services under this task order may be required any day of the week (Monday through Sunday), any time of the day (from midnight to 11:59pm). Each HCW shall normally provide services for a range from eight and a half (8.5) to twelve and a half (12.5) hour period (to include an uncompensated one-half (0.5) hour for meal break), Monday through Sunday. A typical work week is five (5) days (0730-1630). Services may also include weekends and holidays. A typical month will include (one (1) – two (2) weekend shifts and one (1) – two (2) weeknight shifts. Weekend (Day/Evening) and weekday evening shifts shall also be scheduled monthly. One week of six (6) night shifts (1900-0100) may be scheduled quarterly. Any changes in the schedule shall be coordinated between the HCW and the Government.
