On-call Surveyor

This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for an On-call Surveyor for our Columbus, OH office. Be involved in projects with our Oil and Gas Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Your Impact: - Act as the on-site representative for WSP - Conduct site survey each day to assess jobsite hazards and appropriate PPE required. - Attend a Job Hazard Analysis Meeting every morning with field crew. - Establish onsite control. - Locate and probe existing company gas lines. - Assist crew chief to perform topographical surveys gathering data on all major terrain features. - Take field notes of field data gathered. - Ensure all work is performed per design and company specifications through observations after completion of work. - Ensure all work is performed safely and proper procedures and quality control are followed. - Position may interface with landowners and refer any landowner questions, concerns or issues to the appropriate client representative. - Complete training on assigned tasks. - Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Cod...
