When you join the Inpatient Teleservices team as a Central Monitor Technician (CMT) at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center you are joining a team that works together to provide continuous telemetry monitoring to hospital patients who need close monitoring of their heart rhythms during their hospital stay. A Central Monitoring Technician , or CMT, at DHMC is an integral member of the patient care team. As a CMT, you will receive on-the-job training to recognize heart rhythms and alert bedside care teams of changes or potential life-threatening emergencies. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the CMT continuously monitors heart rhythms and interprets dysrhythmias in accordance with policy and procedure.
