At Fortrea’s Early Clinical Research Unit in Drapers Yard, Leeds, you can use that hard-earned experience in a different way, helping shape new medical treatments while still making a direct impact on patient care. You will work in our modern 65,000 ft², 100 bed clinic, only 7 minutes from the train station. It is here where life-saving medicines begin their journey . As a nurse, you will be part of those early steps, supporting research right when new treatments are first explored. WHAT YOU WILL DO: - Deliver safe, high quality care to clinical trial participants. - Work autonomously to carry out procedures such as cannulation, bloods, ECGs, observations and medicines administration. - Monitor participant wellbeing and document any adverse events. - Obtain informed consent and guide participants through study procedures. - Record accurate data in electronic systems to support study quality. - Learn how research studies are planned and conducted. - Develop your skills until you are resposible for your own studies.
