OFFICIAL JOB TITLE: Community Case Manager DIVISION : Student Affairs: DEPARTMENT : Counseling Center: BARGAINING UNIT STATUS : ESU, 12: FLSA STATUS : Exempt: REPORTS TO: Director of Counseling Center SUPERVISES: None: SUMMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: As a member of the Student Affairs team, this position collaborates closely with Counseling Services, Health Services, Housing & Residence Education, University Police, Athletics, the Dean On-Call team, the Associate Vice-Chancellor/ Dean of Campus life, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs to provide real-time wellness checks, crisis intervention, and follow-up care for students living on and off-campus. This person is an integral part of the CARE Team and student connection to resources. Flexibility, teamwork, the ability to establish rapport during emotionally charged situations; and the ability to tolerate ambiguity are highly desired. This position will also be responsible for triaging students of concern and providing case management coordination as needed.
