Full Time (80 hours/biweekly) Shift: Day/Evening/Nights: Possible 8 hour/10 hour/12 hour shifts Sign on Bonus Eligible: Position Function: Under the direction of a radiologist, performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams for subsequent evaluation by attending physician. Assists physician as requested in the selection of practical applications and technical factors. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 1. Performs required weekly quality control on 1.5T MRI scanner and documents all data in QC log [online desktop]. 2. Demonstrates involvement in department by attending 50% of staff/committee meetings. 3. Collaborates with staff members, management team, and interdepartmental staff to identify and initiate appropriate interventions to deal with problems, needs, and issues. 4. Maintains a professional image that reflects the employee's role in health care, with confidence and a positive impression. 5. Assists in orientation of new personnel or trainees to the department by being friendly, encouraging, and serving as a "buddy" to new technologist. 6.
