Infrastructure Operations Specialist Location: New York: Business Area: Engineering and CTO: Ref #: 10051499 Description & Requirements: The Role: The Data Center Infrastructure Operations Specialist supports Bloomberg’s Network Engineering Operations Group, managing global colocation and Node Site infrastructure environments. This role focuses on operational execution, infrastructure lifecycle management, capacity allocation, database accuracy, and incident response to ensure scalable, reliable, and efficient data center operations worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Support operations across 100+ global colocation data centers. - Manage space, power, port, and cabling capacity (1700+ racks, 6MW+ power). - Maintain accurate infrastructure records across multiple internal and external systems. - Coordinate hardware installs, de-installs, circuit lifecycle activities, and infrastructure changes. - Support planning and execution of infrastructure-related projects. - Ensure site standards, maintenance activities, and operational processes are consistently followed. - Troubleshoot site issues and coordinate vendors and internal / external smart hands teams. - Execute incident response a...
