Water Operator

Job description

Water Operator We are seeking a Water Operator to support the daily operation and maintenance of our water treatment facilities. This position is responsible for operating treatment equipment, monitoring processes, performing routine maintenance, documenting plant performance, and responding to operational issues. This role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24 hour on call assignments as needed. Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain water treatment equipment including pumps, valves, motors, belt presses, disinfection systems, and vehicles - Monitor production wells and treatment unit processes - Perform routine testing and basic laboratory analyses - Document daily operations including flow, chemical usage, electrical usage, and dosages - Perform routine maintenance and assist with emergency repairs to equipment, instrumentation, and electrical components - Respond to after hours call outs and emergency situations - Maintain clean, organized, and secure facilities - Provide customer service support when required - Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Previous water or wastewater treatment experience preferred - Working...
