Job Description: The Calvert County Department of Community Resources, Office on Aging, is seeking a Program Specialist I to lead daily operations at the Southern Pines Senior Center. This role oversees center activities, supervises staff and volunteers, and develops engaging educational, recreational, fitness, and special event programming for older adults. This highly visible position also recruits and manages instructors, ensures a safe and welcoming facility environment, and actively promotes programs to encourage participation and community engagement. Performs specialized program work in the County's programs for older persons. The work involves developing and implementing educational, recreational, leisure activity, and physical fitness programs for participants, including special populations. Position reports to the Aging Services Program Manager.
