Position Description: Assemblers perform various tasks here a Wabash that vary from location to location. We have Assemblers that are responsible for anything from installing and assembling subassemblies and component parts to operating rivet punchers to installing decals and much more in between Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Below are examples of the type of duties you could be responsible for: · Own and help improve are Safety, Quality, and Delivery, performance · Keeping their work area free of any potential work hazards · Caulking materials · Measuring and cutting material · Installing rivets · Operating heavy machinery · Installing truck bed flooring · Following decal templates/ blueprints · Install signs, reflectors, fenders, mud flaps and other associated parts · Performs additional work as assigned by the Supervisor or Team leader. This may require the employee to flex into another department · Wear approved personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses with side shields, respirators, hearing protection, etc. · Complete assigned duties in accordance with safety policies and practices.
